Instruction and discussion will include the history and philosophy of the PA model, SAP team roles, the SAP Core Team process, methods for effective student and parent engagement, resilience-building strategies, current ATOD concerns and appropriate interventions, identification of students’ observable behaviors that may be signs of behavioral health concerns, and review of available community resources.
