About This Course
This course is designed to review the principles of substance abuse, addiction, recovery, and traditional therapeutic services. It will define holistic treatments in addiction recovery, explore various holistic approaches in addiction therapy, and explain the benefits and outcomes of these treatments.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the core principles of substance use, addiction, recovery, and traditional treatment services.
- Define holistic treatment within the context of addiction recovery.
- Analyze and evaluate holistic approaches used in addiction therapies.
- Explain the potential benefits and applications of holistic therapies in addiction recovery.

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
