BHTEN, in collaboration with DBHIDS, is pleased to announce an enhanced Housing, Homeless, and Residential Training Series, geared to meet the changing needs of the current workforce. This enhanced series includes rolling enrollment, a self paced certificate track, monthly live elective webinars, and robust data collection for agency administrators.

This series has a rolling admission and does not close. The series is broken up into two learning tracks, Certificate and Electives.
Certificate Track provides 7 pre-record and/or self guided eLearnings designed to give TIP Residential & Recovery House Staff an overview of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health as well as provide a fundamental knowledge about governmental regulations and standards. The series is designed to ensure TIP/RH Staff receive an equitable amount of therapeutic skills, resources, and knowledge. In turn TIP/RH Staff will more confidently coordinate the services needed and wanted by those being assisted in the recovery process. After the completion of all required self paced learning elements, participants will complete an evaluation and be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

- Professionalism, Ethics, and Boundaries
- The Opioid Epidemic & Evidence Based Practices for Opioid Use Disorder
- Intimate Partner Violence
- The 302 Process
About This Course
This six-week series hosted through the DBHIDS Learning Hub is a combination of e-Learning, pre-recorded webinars, and live webinars. The 6 weeks are designed to give the staff of Recovery Housing, TIP Housing, Nursing homes and other congregate care providers an overview of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health as well as provide a fundamental knowledge about governmental regulations and standards. The series is also designed to ensure Managers, Directors and direct support staff receive therapeutic skills, resources, and knowledge regarding behavioral health conditions, support and services. In turn, staff will more confidently coordinate the services needed and wanted by those being assisted in the recovery process.
Learning Objectives:
Learning objectives for each topic will be available on the LMS in weekly Resource Folders.
At the conclusion of this series Recovery House Managers & TIP Supervisors will be able to:
- Coordinate an array of Person-First services & supports that meet individual recovery goals.
- Develop a repertoire of resources and referral information to assist people receiving services.
- Assess the need for service and justify the level of care that best helps people in their recovery process.

Participants must attend entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within 7 days of training to receive certificate. All certificates will be accessible through the DBHIDS Learning Hub upon approval.
