About This Course
This workshop introduces Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction tools and outlines how regular and consistent practice of these skills can support well-being and expand our resilience as providers in the helping profession. In this session we will practice integrating mindfulness into everyday life by focusing on daily activities with greater attention, focus and kindness. This practice expands our ability to slow down and stay centered in the present moment and brings greater appreciation for our everyday experiences.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss how mindfulness practices can increase a sense of well-being.
- Use practices that can be easily incorporated into our everyday activities to increase well-being, contentment, and positive states.

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, BHTEN offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. BHTEN is authorized by IACET to offer CEUs for this program.
