About This Course
The purpose of this presentation is to explore and discuss sex work and the stigmas surrounding sex work. Participants will explore ow implicit biases further perpetuate negative perceptions of sex work. Learners will discuss sex work, understand how its negatively and incorrectly compared to human trafficking.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn the differences between Sex Work and Human Trafficking (Sex Trafficking)
- Explore risk sex workers may encounter while engage in sex work.
- Name different forms of sex work while exploring history of sex work in the United States.
Intended Audience:
Behavioral health professionals that work with people that might be in the sex trade, any professionals thatwant to explore the stigma people in the sex trade experience.

Completion Requirements:
Participants must attend the entire session, participate in all activities, and submit an evaluation within the 7 days of training to receive credits and a certificate. All CEU certificates and certificates of attendance will be received through the DBHIDS Learning Hub. Once you have completed your evaluation you will have access to your CEU or Certificate of Attendance through your DBHIDS Learning Hub Account.

BHTEN is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
